Yes — both Seekers and Experts can cancel bookings with valid reasons, depending on the job stage.
On SeekExperts, the expert decides their own service price, not us. When a seeker posts a request, they can set their expected budget, and experts who match that budget can apply or negotiate directly through chat. Payments happen between the seeker and expert, based on the final amount both agree on. SeekExperts does not charge any commission on the job amount. SeekExperts only offers optional Expert Subscription Plans (starting February 2026) for professionals who want more visibility and unlimited applications. These subscriptions do not affect job pricing — experts still set their own rates, and seekers still choose experts based on their budget.
If an expert fails to show up or cancels unexpectedly:
