Services Guidelines
These guidelines ensure a fair, respectful, and reliable experience for everyone using the SeekExperts platform — whether you’re hiring a professional (Customer / Seeker) or offering your expertise (Service Provider / Expert).
By using SeekExperts, you agree to follow the rules below. Violation of these may result in account suspension or permanent removal.
For Customers (Seekers)
Do:
• Be clear, honest, and detailed when posting job requests — include your budget, location, time, and service requirements.
• Treat Experts with respect, courtesy, and professionalism.
• Confirm availability before making urgent or time-sensitive bookings.
• Pay the agreed amount directly to the Expert as per your mutual understanding.
• Provide accurate ratings and genuine reviews after the job is completed.
• Report disputes or issues through the SeekExperts support system, not directly to the worker.
Don’t:
• Cancel bookings at the last minute without a valid reason (repeated violations may lead to penalties).
• Request or arrange services outside the SeekExperts platform (bypassing the system is not allowed).
• Use offensive, misleading, or abusive language in chats or reviews.
• Misuse an Expert’s contact details or harass them in any manner.
• Post fake job requests or intentionally waste professionals’ time.
For Service Providers (Experts)
Do:
• Keep your profile, verification documents, and service details updated at all times.
• Be punctual, professional, and reliable for every booking.
• Communicate clearly and confirm service expectations before starting the job.
• Carry your own tools or materials if required (unless otherwise agreed).
• Maintain personal hygiene, politeness, and professional behavior at all times.
• Respect customer privacy — never take photos, videos, or share data without consent.
• Verify the safety and legitimacy of the service location before traveling.
Don’t:
• Fail to show up for confirmed bookings without informing the customer in advance.
• Overcharge, demand cash, or threaten customers in any way.
• Solicit tips, gifts, or personal favors beyond the agreed amount.
• Use abusive, inappropriate, or discriminatory language on the job.
• Create fake reviews, manipulate ratings, or post misleading information.
• Share personal numbers to bypass the app’s subscription system.
Rules for All Users
• Discrimination of any kind — including gender, religion, caste, ethnicity, or appearance — is strictly prohibited.
• All in-app communication must remain respectful, professional, and within platform boundaries.
• Illegal activities, fraud, or harassment will result in immediate termination and may be reported to authorities.
• SeekExperts reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or permanently ban any user violating these guidelines.
Safety Guidelines
• Always verify the identity of the person arriving for a service.
• Use in-app chat and call features instead of sharing personal contact details.
• Keep valuables and personal belongings secure during appointments.
• Report any suspicious or unsafe behavior immediately through the app or by emailing seekexperts.in@gmail.com.
• In emergencies, end the service immediately and contact local authorities if required.
